This detailed bird's-eye view presents the fortified city of Erfurt along the Gera River in central Germany. It is filled with details down to individual streets and features a key at lower left identifying 41 important buildings including Erfurt Cathedral, the hilltop monastery of St. Peter & Paul, town hall, two hospitals, and more. A striking city crest decorates the key and a simple compass orients north to the right.
