An attractive map of southern Germany including Heidelberg, Augsburg, Stuttgart, Constance and Strassburg. It extends into northern Switzerland including Basel and the upper Rhine River and is densely filled with rivers, forests and mountains, towns, and fortified cities. The map is decorated with a drape-style title cartouche and sixteen coats of arms of the region surrounded by putti.

A crisp impression on a bright sheet of watermarked paper with a 4" centerfold separation at bottom that has been partially repaired on verso with old paper. Numerous cities have been underlined in an old hand.
