It covers Northern France and its surroundings, spanning from the Strait of Dover east to Frankfurt and from Antwerp south to Troyes. Several historical regions are identified including Flanders, Brabant, Duchy of Luxemburg, Baden, Artois, Picardy, Champagne, and Lorraine.
