This handsome map centers on modern Iran and is divided into smaller provinces. The map extends to depict the Caucasus and parts of present-day Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, and Afghanistan. It locates cities, rivers, mountains, deserts, and lakes. There are four distance scales. Published by Laurie & Whittle at 53 Fleet Street in London..

Condition: A

A crisp impression with full contemporary color on a bright sheet with a Strasbourg Bend & Lily watermark and a couple of marginal spots of foxing. Remnants of hinge tape on recto along the right and left edges of the map.
