Nice pair of county maps. First is by Thomas Kitchin, circa 1750, full color, (6.6 x 5.5"). The map is decorated with a block-style cartouche and compass rose. The second map by J. Archer was engraved for Dugdales England and Wales Delineated, circa 1845, b/w, (7 x 9.2"). It shows canals, turnpike roads, railways, polling places and much more information.
