Large, folding pocket map in green embossed cloth case with both original paper labels. Copperplate engraving with original hand color, sectioned and laid down on linen in 27 parts. Very finely engraved showing amazing detail. Index to map at bottom. When this map was published the Republic of Texas maintained their London Embassy on St. James Street, just off Trafalgar Square.

Map is soiled with some offsetting. Some of the linen sections have splits. Case is a little soiled, otherwise in remarkable condition.
