A fine Revolutionary War map based on Thomas Kitchin's 1758 map but not showing the townships. Labels Fairfield, New Haven and New London counties in Connecticut. There is good detail of the early settlements, roads and a copper mine near Simsbury, CT. Complete with the issue of Gentleman's Magazine, November 1776 with an interesting letter from General Howe on the taking of New York and his declaration to the American people.
