An interesting hand colored map lithographed by J. Bien. Provides a clear picture of the railroads involved in the theatre of operations during the Civil War. The tracks using a gauge of 5 ft., 4 ft. 8 1/2 in., and 5 ft. 6 in. are color-coded. A large and detailed map that is useful for tracking military operations and troop movements during the Civil War.

Lightly toned along some folds with tiny loss at two fold intersections, else very good. Issued folded, now backed with archival tissue.
