New France and Louisiana occupy the Midwest, western Canada is labeled 'Parts Undiscovered'. The Colorado River is named and correctly flows into the Sea of Cortez. Fancy cartouche and compass rose.
Map itself has a good impression on hand laid paper with original margins. Folding, as issued with one clean split extending through map, closed on verso with archival tape. Tear enters corner of map, also closed on verso.
