Detailed plan of Adventure Bay in Tasmania, which was discovered by Tobias Furneaux, captain of the H.M.S. Adventure, on Capt. Cook's second voyage. The plan shows the topography and soundings, anchorages, "watering place" and "wooding place". The compass rose orients the chart with north at the bottom. An engraved view is at top. Attractively colored. Accompanied by a photocopy of the title page.
