Scarce polar exploration chart showing the explorations of the ill-fated expedition with wonderful detail. The map covers the discoveries made in the region of the Coppermine River, Great Bear Lake, and the Mackenzie River and Bay. The map was compiled by Lt. E.N. Kendall, assistant surveyor, engraved by J. & C. Walker and published by John Murray. Finely printed on two joined sheets of onionskin paper with attractive later coloring.
