Mostly complete in original paper subscription wrappers, never bound. Wrappers are in 34 parts including the Table of Contents and introductory text pages. Missing subscription sleeves for Parts 7, 23 and 24. Calls for 171 double page (approximately 27x17") plates. Missing 33 plates, namely: 1, 28, 31-35, 39-41, 51, 58, 59, 86-88, 90, 96, 111-122, 129, 135A, 151 and 152. The maps are generally in fine to very good condition with just a couple of exceptions. Wrappers are in varying condition from very poor to very good, most being rather tattered. Perfect for dealers or the collector wanting to assemble this hard-to-find atlas. 133 folio map sheets.
