Photogravure of a painting by Juilian Oliver Davidson (1853-1893) an American marine artist. The painting portrays a sea battle most likely during the War of 1812. The America Man-O-War is the victor over a British war ship whose masts and sails are destroyed. Beautifully rendered and printed on a fine sheet of vellum paper.
