One of the most desirable Tallis maps. The islands are surrounded by a decorative border with three vignettes; Auckland, Mount Egmont from New Plymouth, and Wellington, a Maori portrait and a coin.

Plate was printed crooked on the paper, shaving off a bit of the upper left border, else clean and bright.
