Large, impressive map of European Russia covering all of Scandinavia through to include the Black and Caspian seas. Nicely detailed including engraved forests and mountains. Embellished with ships and sea monsters in the seas and depictions of wildlife in the interior. The large title cartouche features five Russian gentlemen and a coat of arms.

Professional tissue reinforced centerfold and some paper replacement in margins. Tiny spot above Caspian Sea, else very clean and crisp with attractive later color.
