A very decorative steel engraved map with original outline color. Texas is still shown as independent, California belongs to Mexico and Alaska is labeled 'Amerique Russe'. The surrounding (uncolored as issued) illustrations show flora, fauna and people of North and Central America. Chart lists populations including Texas shown with 200,000 people.
