This striking leaf is from the Litanies, evoking the prayers of the saints. On the recto each line begins with an illuminated capital, 'S' beginning the word 'Sancte' and 'O' beginning the word 'Omnes'. Nine lines also include a decorative line filler. On verso all but four lines begin with illuminated initials and several lines include further decoration, all executed in blue, red, and white ink and burnished gold leaf.
