Well rendered wood engraved map with text at left and right. This is a birds-eye-view of ancient Rome showing the roads, aqueducts, the Pantheon and the Amphitheater. Crisp impression on hand-laid paper with a little staining along center fold. Latin text on verso with an illustration of the she-wolf nursing the twins Romulus & Remus.
