Attractive bird's eye view of Den Briel, an important 16th century port. The city is situated on a large island and is protected by both walls and canals. The panoramic view provides a quaint view of the surrounding farms, livestock, ships, boat building, fishing and even a sea battle. It is further embellished with two strapwork title cartouches. North is oriented at the bottom of the map. French text on verso.
