Complete with 50 lithographed maps and charts, two uncolored and the balance with full wash color, 35 modern maps and 15 of ancient geography. Each attractive with script titling and border. The map of the United States includes large western territories and a pre-Gadsden purchase boundary with Mexico. Original marble-papered boards with cloth spine.


Condition: B

Light scattered foxing to the first few maps including the double hemisphere world. Others mostly very good to fine condition. Front cover and spine partially detached, other wise sound.
