Signed by ANDREW JACKSON, as President. This land grant for 59 acres in Detroit, Michigan Territory was issued to Thomas Osborne of Seneca County, New York. It was issued on Jan 1, 1831 and countersigned by Elijah Hayward, Commissioner of the General Land Office. Manuscript and printing, on vellum, complete with intact seal. Jackson's large (6" across) signature is very prominent.
