Fascinating and very scarce map of the state of South Carolina with a beautifully engraved state seal in the lower left. The coloring divides the map into various regions; Upper Country, Middle Country, Lower Country, Catawba Lands, and Cherokee lands. Great detail of the young state including the location of court houses, iron works, Indian villages, and roads.
