Based on De Vaugondy's map, this is a polar projection covering from the pole to the equator. In North America, the mythical Northwest Passage is shown connecting through the Strait of Anian to Hudson Bay. Lanhotan's Longue River is also shown connecting the Mississippi River with the Pacific. Original pastel color.
