"Deacon's Synchronological Chart, Pictorial and Descriptive, of Universal History with Maps of the World's Great Empires and a Complete Geological Diagram of the Earth", Hull, Edward

A fabulous chart, in the time-line style, starting with Adam and Eve to the late 19th century. Every panel is fully engraved with a huge amount of information. The separate Key is in seven languages. The chart consists of 14 panels (each measuring 14.5 x 20"), laid on heavy paper, and folded accordion style into the elephant folio format. The extensive illustrations and maps are done in a combination of processes, including chromolithograph, wood relief and block printing. Boards with black cloth and typical wear, the interior is clean.
