The atlas contains 29 maps, including 5 folding maps engraved by Blondeau. Maps are copper engraved with outline hand-color. Includes two world maps, an armillary sphere, Europe, Asia, East Indies, North America, United States, South America, Africa, the major European nations and four ancient maps. The map of the United States shows 15 states and the new "Gouvernment de Tennassee". Hard bound, marbled boards and leather spine with title in gold on a red background.
