Superb Dutch Bible map covering the region between the Mediterranean and the Persian Gulf, featuring the Garden of Eden, which is located near the city of Babel. Block title is flanked by small vignettes of Abraham's journey from Ur, and two larger scenes of Eve offering Adam the apple and the expulsion from the Garden of Eden. A lovely, decorative map with a strapwork distance scale and a tiny scene of Jonas and the whale.
