An attractive map of Asia based on the Sanson-Jaillot map of 1692, with the now obsolete delineation of Siberia and Japan. Korea appears as an elongated peninsula. It has been updated in include the northern coastline of Australia (Nouvelle Hollande) based on the De l'Isle configuration of 1705. The upper corners contain decorative title and scale of miles cartouches and the dedication to the Duc de Bouregogne.

Condition: B

There is an additional title in the top margin, which has been slightly trimmed. Damp stain in margins, with even toning and a bit of discoloration intruding into top of map.
