Incredibly decorative engraving of the island of Saint Helena. Three elevations provide prospective of the rugged topography. The ocean is filled with delightful illustrations of sea life and a fleet of Portuguese ships. The sheet is then richly embellished with two beautiful compass roses and three elaborate cartouches. The impression is sharp and dark. Trimmed at neatlines on both sides, apparently as issued.
