Uncommon map from the first lithographic atlas. It was also the first atlas to present all the maps on the same scale (1: 1,641,836). There was only one edition, published in 1825-27, and the subscription list shows that 810 copies were sold. This map is confined to the Gulf coast and in addition to Texas, shows a bit of Louisiana and Mexico. Loredo, San Antonio, and Galveston are named. Large inset of French text.
