134 pages containing 62 (of 67) hand-colored maps. Gilt embossed binding with leather spine. Binding is in excellent condition. Missing 1/2 of map of the U.S., 1/2 of Maine, 1/2 of Massachusetts, Florida, and Texas. National Emblems chart, World, Vermont, Kentucky & Tennessee, Africa, and Roman Empire maps are split on centerfold. Other minor defects to a few maps. Even with its faults it is a nice atlas, which could easily be completed and repaired. It is rare to find this atlas with such a good binding.
