Superb and fascinating double hemisphere map of the surface of the moon. The dark side is filled with imaginary topography, using place names from the Mediterranean world. The maps is decorated at top with cherubs using a telescope and Diana, the lady of the moon. German text panels at bottom. Repaired tear affecting text at bottom, image and color fine. $1300 RESERVE
