Very unusual map covering most of Africa and extending through southern Asia to western Australia. The Indian subcontinent is rather oddly shaped and there are other outdated cartographic features making this a very interesting study. The large figurative cartouche occupies nearly all of the southern Indian Ocean. Crisply engraved and very clean.
