One of the earliest available views of the city. Numerous mosques dominate the skyline and a large ship is in foreground. Latin text above and on verso (with several fine woodblock illustrations of the emperor Constantine and his descendants). Very good impression with small old manuscript ink title at top in image. Old repair of binding holes along fold, with light toning and marginal spots at bottom.
