Fascinating map of the region between the Black and Caspian Seas where "Paradis" or the Garden of Eden was believed to be in the region of present day Armenia. In addition the map depicts the Tigre and Euphrates rivers with major cities including Babylon. Attractive title cartouche and compass rose. Close margin to neatline at one corner, as issued. A very uncommon map of the area.
