Great 19th century map of Antarctica depicting the extent of exploration in the region. The voyages of explorers are charted including Cook, Biscoe, Kemp, Ross, Bellinghausen, and Wilkes. Surrounded in Colton's distinctive border. Damp stain in margins, just touching outside border.
