This Civil War map shows the area from Charlottesville north to Washington, D.C. and east to Tappahannock. It locates Port Tobacco, Port Royal, Bowling Green, and Strassburg along with county courthouses and numerous wagon roads. Several railroads are delineated including the Manassas Gap, Loudoun & Hampshire, Central, Orange & Alexandria, and the Richmond & Potomac railroads. Lithographed by Bowen & Company in Philadelphia.

Condition: B+

Issued folding with a few short fold separations along the edges that have been repaired with old tape. A number of small edge tears and chips in the top and bottom margins have been closed on verso with archival tape.
