This separately published 12-page brochure features the article "Along the Southern Highway" which was taken from the November 1915 issue of Travel Magazine. Supplementing the article is effectively an advertisement for the National Highways Association with a small map entitled Fifty Thousand Miles of National Highways Proposed by the National Highways Association (8 x 5") showing “Tentative Locations for a National Highway System." Text beneath the map describes a fourfold system of highways including national and state highways, county roads, and town roads. At the end of the article is an additional section of text further promoting the association's mission entitled "Fifty Thousand Miles of National Highways Will." The brochure includes a number of illustrations and related advertisements for Johnson's Wax, Firestone, Cadillac, and more.
