Dutch Bible map covering the region between the Mediterranean and the Persian Gulf, featuring the Garden of Eden, which is located near the Tower of Babel. The map includes tiny engravings of Eve offering Adam the apple and their subsequent expulsion from the garden. Abraham's journey from Ur is noted, as are the wanderings of the Children of Israel, and a vignette of Jonah and the whale. Engraved by Albert Schut. This is the first state, with Danckerts' imprint at bottom right. Dutch text on verso.

A nice impression issued folding on a sheet with a Strasbourg lily watermark and minor toning and soiling along the edges of the sheet. There is a small stain along the left edge of the sheet.
