This map focuses on Lower Saxony, with Oldenburg approximately at the center and including the cities of Bremen and Hamburg. A lovely strapwork cartouche fills the North Sea. This is the first state, prior to the addition of Hondius' imprint. Latin text on verso.

A nice impression with full contemporary color on a sheet with a coat of arms watermark. There is light soiling and paper tape along the centerfold on verso. The margins have been trimmed a bit with minute loss of text on verso.
