This detailed regional map covers the Rhone-Alpes region with a small portion of Italy. It includes the cities of Lyon, Grenoble, and Turin. Fortified cities, small towns, monasteries, roads and canals fill the landscape along with topographical depictions of hills, mountains and forests. At the top right is a large title cartouche embellished with allegorical figures overseeing a battle.

Full contemporary color on a bright sheet with a watermark. There is a small hole near the center of the image, light toning along the centerfold, and an archivally repaired centerfold separation at bottom. An old manuscript page number was added at top right, and the bottom left corner of the sheet has been cut.
