Streeter, Frank Sherwin Streeter (1918 - 2006) began to build an impressive collection of his own after his father's death, with a focus on original narratives of early voyages, exploration related to the search for the Northwest Passage, the history of navigation, and astronomy. The two volumes cover 552 lots, most with illustrations. The books serve as a tremendous resource for anyone who shares Streeter's collecting interests. The specialists credited with assembling this catalog are Francis Wahlgren, Thomas Lecky, Ian Ehling, Chris Coover, Melanie Halloran, and Patrick McGrath.
