A bold and graphic title page featuring a woman representing Geography drawing while an allegorical representation of the Earth (Cybele) sits by her side, with the lion of the Netherlands in front. Neptune sits astride the globe, Atlas bears the firmament on his shoulders, and the angel of Fame blows her horn. Drawn and engraved by Gerard de Lairesse. This is a very unusual example that is printed in sepia ink.

Lovely sepia printing with a small oil stain on lion's face, else very good.
