This detailed two-sheet map covers all of Italy and includes Corsica, Sardinia, and Malta. It is dense with place names, and there is nice topographical detail. The top right corner of the northern sheet is embellished with a large title cartouche composed of wind-heads in the empyrean.

Contemporary outline color with light foxing that is mostly confined to the blank margins. The southern sheet has a light dampstain in an unengraved area at left.
