This map is centered approximately on Bitterfeld along the Mulda River in Saxony-Anhalt and includes the cities of Delitzsch, Landsberg, Petersberg and Gräfenhainichen. A detailed legend identifies over a dozen symbols on the map that indicate different types of locales that can be found in the region, such as towns with churches, nobelmen's estates, inns, various types of mills, vineyards, and more. Roads and political boundaries are also shown. The map is adorned with three rococo cartouches that feature grapes, a cupid, and a sculptor chiseling the title cartouche.
