This is a handsome map of east central Germany, centering on Erfurt and including Halle. Mountains and forests are pictorially depicted throughout. The map is filled with tiny towns and foritified cities. The title cartouche features hunting and the harvest, with Ceres representing the harvest and Diana representing hunting.
