Three maps elegantly composed on one folio sheet. The semicircular map of Cadiz is taken from a manuscript map drawn by George Hoefnagel during his stay from 1563-1567. The Carpetaniae map is very accurate but from an unknown source. The source of the Guipuscae map is also unknown, but de Jode also published it in 1578. Latin text on verso, published in 1584.
References: Van den Broecke #31.
Condition: B+
A sharp, early impression with full contemporary color on a sheet with a coat of arms watermark. There is minor soiling and a short centerfold separation in the center of the image that has been archivally repaired. There are a few small pieces of cello tape along the far edges of the sheet at top.
