This bird's-eye view shows the Mediterranean coastline between Nice, France and Monaco. The fortified cities are shown in great detail and several ships sail in the sea. A ribbon banner at bottom presents a lettered key. Adorned with a ribbon-style title cartouche and a large compass rose.

A crisp impression, issued folding on a watermarked sheet with a hint of toning. The right margin has been professionally extended to accommodate framing.
