Beautiful folio map of Scandinavia, including the Baltic States with a portion of northwestern Russia. Locates Moscow, S. Michael Archangel, Konigsberg, and more. An elaborate figurative cartouche features a herald, putti, angels, a lion, and royal coat-of-arms. Four distance scales at upper right.

Condition: B
A crisp impression with full contemporary color in the image and later color in the cartouche on a watermarked sheet. There is light soiling, a very narrow top margin, and a hole along the centerfold in the Baltic Sea that has been repaired, with some loss of image.
