This attractive brochure and map was published by the Merchants' Association of New York to encourage summer tourism. The text states that there are "many routes to the great metropolis" and "it is well worth while to tarry on the way, and enjoy the Summer pleasures of round-about routes to the 'Summer City by the Sea'." The 36 unpaginated pages covers numerous points of interest including Madison Square Garden, Central Park, Manhattan Beach, South Beach, Long Island Sound, Coney Island, and much more. Laid in to the rear of the brochure is a sheet featuring two street maps of Manhattan (upper and lower), with additional maps on verso showing hotels, theaters, and the transportation network in the region. Pictorial paper wrappers (4.0 x 8.0").
