This colorful promotional map was designed by Plaquet for Air France. Bold text at bottom informs the reader that Air France "opens up all of North America through these associated companies" and features many American airlines including Eastern, United, Northwest, American and Braniff. The large outline map of North America has an interesting three-dimensional quality to visually raise it off the paper and contains illustrations capturing some of its wonders and industrial might including the Statue of Liberty, skyscrapers in Chicago and San Francisco, oil derricks, and the logging industry. Along the east coast, a large Air France plane is preparing to land while several smaller planes dot the map. Printed by Perceval in Paris.
